Xi’an doctor draws thousands of lungs over 32 years

Dou Quanli is the director of the Department of Neurotuberculosis at Xi'an Chest Hospital. In order to better communicate with patients, he started drawing their lungs instead of merely telling them their diagnoses. Over the last 32 years, Dou Quanli has drawn tens of thousands of lungs and accumulated a pile of "paintings", and is now known as the "legendary painter" around the hospital. (Photo/Zhang Yuan)
