China Internet titan proudly shares AI diagnosis report with world
"Eighty percent of medical cases diagnosed by our articficial intelligence tool come up with the same diagnosis given by doctors," said Robin Li (2nd Left), CEO of Baidu, China's largest search engine, while attending a seminar with WHO Chief Margaret Chan at the 9th Global Conference on Health Promotion.
Li noted that Baidu receives 6 million health-related inquiries a day. Baidu has also launched a service to make online appointments with doctors. The company demonstrates faith in the future of big data to solve the enigma of complex gene combinations that cause serious health problems.
